How to Stop Negative Thinking Before It's Too Late

As a leader, you create what you allow.  This means you are responsible for your team's performance and the impact that results.  But are you responsible for the way your team thinks? YES!!!  As a matter of fact, that is probably one of the most important and overlooked areas we as leaders are responsible for.  Because depending on the type of thinking your team has, it will create very different results. In situations where we are experiencing an emergency or a pandemic or recession it is essential we observe both our own and our team's thinking and make sure it is not too negative, or "helpless".  Negative thinking can spread in a team and can become a way of operating that is NOT helpful. So, what can you do in this situation?  In this episode I outline what to look for to know if you are suffering from negative thinking and also a useful exercise you can do to replace that negative thinking and move from powerless to powerful.
