In California, a group of organizers recently held a virtual press conference urging California governor Gavin Newsom to stop all arrests for prostitution in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic. The press conference was hosted by Maxine Doogan of the Erotic Service Providers Legal Education Research Project, Kristen DiAngelo of SWOP Sacramento, Rachel West of US PROStitues Collective, and Cesar Espinoza-Perez of Social Justice: Queer/Trans.
