Capturing Nature's Essence: Multimedia Storytelling for a Better Chesapeake Bay | Sea Change

Stories have the power to change us. They can shape or challenge our opinions and values, and give us an opportunity to understand how someone else experiences the world. During this episode, Jenna connects with a longtime friend and seasoned multimedia story sharer, Will Parson, to explore his approach to sharing stories about the environment and outdoors from coast to coast. Over the course of his career, Will has reported on issues like sustainable fishing in Nova Scotia, sugaring season in Vermont, acid mine drainage in Southeast Ohio, and polluted surf spots near San Diego’s international border with Tijuana. In 2014, Will joined the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay as their Multimedia Manager where he produces photo and video stories for the Chesapeake Bay Program. His work throughout the Bay watershed appears on the Chesapeake Bay Program website.
