The Option(al) Experience: Ep. 3: Finding an Options Strategy

The third installment of our dedicated options series kicks off with a great discussion between Blayne Macauley (Host of the Penny Lane Podcast) and Erik Smolinski (Creator of esInvests) about modifying your trading plan to fit your schedule, with Erik sharing some ideas that require less hands-on management. Afterwards, we review last week's homework and look at a paper trade by one of the students. Homework for this week is light, continue to refine your strategies and prepare for an open Q&A next time. Check it out on YouTube if you want to be able to see Erik's screen! If you have questions to submit for the next miniseries episode, email it to 2bulls@financialineptitude.com or post it in our Discord.About Erik:Erik is a lifelong investor and self-made millionaire looking to share how others can achieve the same. He is hoping to share his experience with active and veteran military members to expose them to opportunities. He came from a single parent low-income household, worked odd jobs as a kid, and began investing in high school. Erik wasn't going to attend college and planned to enlist in the Marines, but a mentor directed him to apply for a scholarship (which he earned). While he pursued his undergrad, he dug deeper into investing and trading - finding derivatives which he primarily trades. Om Podcasten

Education is the foundation of successful trading and community/support is the glue that holds it all together. At Band of Traders, our mission is to provide you with educational resources to sharpen your trading skills. Our thriving Discord community is a great source of inspiration, motivation and camaraderie. We are bringing together traders of all levels for no-nonsense insights into the trading world. We don’t sugarcoat the truth because traders must have the ability to evaluate their trades, strategies and emotional states in order to achieve personal growth. That growth is an integral part of becoming a master trader. We believe that we are stronger together, learn more together, and have better trades together. Our weekly Round Table episodes are casual conversations about the week's trading lessons, educational content, strategies, and all things trading. Our rotation of co-hosts keeps the discussions fresh. Plus, once a month, we’ve got a special treat – a Round Table with expert guests to dive deep into a specific topic. These episodes drop on Mondays. On Thursdays we release our in-depth guest interviews and informative miniseries episodes, all with a focus on trading and trader education. We cover a wide range of topics including stocks and options, FOREX, and futures. Don’t just listen, get involved! Our community members not only share insights, trade ideas, charts and journals, they actively participate in podcast content. Beyond suggesting possible guests, we encourage our listeners to consider recording an episode with us and an expert guest they have questions for. Many of our guests also participate in our Discord discussions, giving traders of all levels opportunities to learn and connect. Explore our episodes, connect with fellow traders, learn from each other’s successes and failures, and grow as we trade together. BandofTradersPodcast.com
