Reni Eddo-Lodge is an award winning journalist, author, and podcaster. Her debut non-fiction book, Why I’m No Longer Talking to White People About Race was published in summer 2017 to critical acclaim. She also has a new podcast out which you can find on iTunes! You can listen to it now, it’s called About Race with Reni Eddo-Lodge and launched in March 2018. Her book instantly became a Sunday Times bestseller and won the 2018 Jhalak Prize. It has also been shortlisted for a British Book Award in the category of narrative non-fiction. The book earned a spot on the longlist for the prestigious Baillie Gifford Prize for non-fiction, and was shortlisted for the Books Are My Bag Readers Awards (non-fiction). It was voted non-fiction book of the year for 2017 by booksellers at both Foyles and Blackwells , and selected by actress Emma Watson as an Our Shared Shelf book pick. We forgot to reference a few names when quoting, so here they are: -Reni quoted Malcolm Gladwell "3 people" in the Tipping Point. -I quoted Lauren Bravo's "quotas analogy are like Invisalyn braces" tweet. Huge thank you to producers Shola Aleje and Marcus Hessenberg and Mark and Elizabeth from Waterstones Gower St for being amazing.
