It’s Patriots Day in Boston as the city is still celebrating the Celtics huge Game 1 win against the Brooklyn Nets. Martin gives credit to the Celtics defense and Sal likes the fact that Kyrie has embraced his dark side. The guys recap all the NBA action from the weekend as Anthony Edwards and the Timberwolves take Game 1 on the road against Memphis and Sal can’t believe there was another protestor- he thinks they should have better ideas as Dave suggests going nude and Martin thinks you need to go into the action. The NBA Award Finalists are announced and the guys all disagree on who should win Coach of the Year; plus does Ja Morant really deserve to be most improved if he was already an All-Star caliber player to begin with. Next, the guys discuss the upcoming NFL Draft and Peter King floating the idea that no skill position players could be drafted within the top ten. They also discuss the USFL season opener from the quality production and the not so quality play. Dave wants to see the USFL bring in star players like Colin Kaepernick or Antonio Brown.
