Atom Bergstrom is truly one of the most unique people I've ever spoken with and not just about health either. He's into health (obviously) spirituality, longevity, science, religion, personal growth, and is a deep researcher. He should be on every major podcast out there. I really enjoy talking with him and sharing his work and information. He has such a great insight that "mainstream" alternative health people don't know about like... * How eating on time helps the body heal * Why Omega 3 oils cause lipofuscin * Why sugar isn't the enemy * And so much more He really goes "against the grain" when it comes to what is actually healthy and what is not. At 78 times around the sun, he's doing quite amazing for himself and seems like he's full of life and energy every time I speak with him. He's found the fountain of youth! We have Atom on the show on a semi regular basis and those episodes get the most downloads that for sure. He's a fan favorite for a reason and we love supporting good people doing real research. Though for the day.... When it comes to what health advice you listen to, give higher priority to people who don't sell supplements, who aren't extremely popular and who don't see patients. This means give priority to people who spend their days researching because they're not financially tied to looking at certain "studies" that support their product. If there's no product involved most likely the person (like Atom) can easily change their mind with a level of humbleness that people who sell products cannot do. Nothing wrong with selling products but there's a lot of people out there saying certain things and you can cut through the matrix by listening to open minded people who spend their days researching without attachments. People like this are hard to come by and this is exactly where Atom fits in! I hope you enjoy this show.
