With the fight for justice and racial, economic, political, and social equality continuing all over the world, we take a look at the efforts by fashion industry organizations, like the CFDA, figures, like Virgil Abloh, and companies to provide opportunities and spaces for Black people and minorities. We also dive into the recent blunderous erasure of Black voices in fashion committed by Forbes of the work of Black designer Anifa Mvuemba, which she was the first designer during this era of COVID-19 to premier a dynamic digital fashion show of her Hanifa sub-label, Pink Label Congo.
