Gracie turns to me with a mouthful of coco pops, mum remember when you were miserable in that job and you didn’t have time to have breakfast with us? That hits me hard, never will I take for granted something as little as sitting on school morning chatting to my kids whilst they eat their breakfast before I get to take them to school. I love that I’m there to walk them in on a morning and the first face they see in the playground when they leave. Something so little which is denied a privilege to many and I can now count as one of my daily blessings.
