Ep 102- Respectable Sins: Judgmentalism
Ephesians 4:29 "Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers." Philippians1:27 "Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ ..." Our Respectable Sins study has brought us to the sin of judgmentalism. This is one that has cast a bad light on Christianity. Instead of the world seeing believers unify with the goal of spreading the gospel, they see us divided and arguing over lesser things. We must use our tongues for edification! That is how our conversation will become the gospel of Christ. We look at this sin from a few different angles as we are challenged to hold to strong, biblical convictions while extending grace to ourselves and to others. We are all on this sanctification journey together. Let's encourage each other instead of casting others down to elevate ourselves.
