Sylvia Massy is an American producer and engineer known for her work with Johnny Cash, Prince, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Tool, as well as her unorthodox recording techniques. We invited her to The Famous Gold Watch studio in Berlin to talk about her unique experiences, which include recording in an abandoned nuclear cooling tower and using vegetables or cheese to filter audio signals.
