Episode 183 – James Boughton-Thomas – The Finance Industry Is Not A Sales Industry Anymore…

Structuring and Managing Your Finances with James Boughton-Thomas There are many financial roadblocks when it comes to structuring and managing your business finances. Getting help can seem daunting, but getting a good financial adviser is all about accessing their credibility and the direction they are steering you toward. However, so often as business people, the only reason that we don’t do complex financial calculations is not that it’s hard. It’s because we don’t want to see the figures. Don’t shy away from the figures. There are so many organizations out there that you can reach out to for help in your business. Stop hiding. They are not there to judge you but to help you save your life and business. There is always a solution, and you don’t have to come up with it on your own. Getting someone else to handle the figure makes all the difference. There is nothing to lose. Find a financial advisor, engage them and strengthen your financial position. Join the conversation with James Boughton-Thomas as she shares more about financial management and how you can get a good financial advisor. James has a passion for financial services developed over many years of working closely with her own financial adviser and realizing the opportunity that professional advice provides in making a real difference in people’s lives. After 26 successful years in the motor industry as Centre Principal at Toyota & Lexus, the opportunity arose to undertake an intense study period to complete the exams necessary to qualify as a financial adviser. James has known Ken for a number of years, they share the same ethos about looking after people and putting clients first, and he leaped at the chance to join Tunstall Financial Management in the autumn of 2020. As partners with Openwork Ltd, he continued his professional development and is on the road to he become a Chartered Financial Planner. Financial planning and advice is a continuous journey for both clients and advisers, and James’ mission is to build enduring relationships with his clients over many years to come. Other interests include cycling, skiing, travel, and church. He’s also a trustee and director of Acts Trust in Lincoln, a school governor, and a CAP Money Coach (Christians Against Poverty). Tune in!
