Episode 48 - Stan Bush

We talk to Stan Bush - Singer songwriter and certified go to guy when it came to movie studios in the 1980s needing a feel good anthem to accompany their blockbuster films. Stan's music has featured heavily on action films such as Jean Claude Van Damme's 'Bloodsport' and 'Kickboxer' through to 'The Wraith' and perhaps most famously his song 'The Touch', which was part of the 'The Transformers Animated Movie' from 1986. Stan has the perfect vocal style and along with his amazing song writing with Lenny Macaluso, together they've crafted some timeless and definitive movie anthems! Stan takes us back to growing up in Gainesville, Florida and how it was a hot bed for musical talent and also his move to the West Coast with the band Boulder and his later solo career ventures.Presented in association with Affinity Photo - The hottest photo editing software on iPad, Mac & PChttps://affinity.serif.com/photoIntro Music by Johnny Monacohttps://www.johnnymonaco.com/ Incidental Music by Night Fires Please visit The Straight To Video Patreon Page to find out how you can help grow this show. https://patreon.com/stvpod
