Episode 19: "Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion during COVID-19 — with Kamillah Knight"

In this episode, CSB Director CB Bhattacharya is joined from Parsippany, New Jersey by Kamillah Knight, Director of Diversity and Inclusion at Ferrero North America. Ms. Knight has a passion and purpose to be a change superhero, changing the way that people interact with their environment and with other people. Prior to joining Ferrero, she worked at Unilever where she gained experience in Supply Chain, Sales, and Human Resources. Ms. Knight discusses beginning a new leadership position during the COVID-19 crisis, how D&I ties into the UN Sustainable Development Goals, and what some companies are doing to support their employees during this time: “When I think about the Sustainable Development Goals specifically, I don’t really feel like you can solve any of them without thinking of it through a diversity and inclusion lens or perspective.” Sign up to receive weekly episodes right to your inbox: bit.ly/csbpodcastemail Submit your "Sustaining Sustainability" feedback and/or questions: bit.ly/csbpodcastfeedback This episode was researched, recorded, edited, and produced by Prof. CB Bhattacharya, Dr. Leslie Marshall, and Alyssa Martinec of the University of Pittsburgh Center for Sustainable Business. www.sustainablebusiness.pitt.edu Music: "Lively" by Dee Yan-Key From the Free Music Archive CC BY NC SA creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0/legalcode
