Episode 23: "Transforming the Economy for a Sustainable Future — with Mindy Lubber"

In this episode, CSB Director CB Bhattacharya is joined from Boston, Massachusetts by Mindy Lubber, CEO and President of Ceres, a sustainability nonprofit organization working with the most influential investors and companies to build leadership and drive solutions throughout the economy. Ms. Lubber also served as a Regional Administrator at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency under former President Bill Clinton. She discusses the history of Ceres, the impact of COVID-19 on sustainable financing and investment, and the future outlook for climate action: “I would answer the question ‘what does sustainability have to do with the economy and business’ – I’d argue … how does it not have everything to do with it?” Sign up to receive weekly episodes right to your inbox: bit.ly/csbpodcastemail Submit your "Sustaining Sustainability" feedback and/or questions: bit.ly/csbpodcastfeedback This episode was researched, recorded, edited, and produced by Prof. CB Bhattacharya, Dr. Leslie Marshall, and Alyssa Martinec of the University of Pittsburgh Center for Sustainable Business. www.sustainablebusiness.pitt.edu Music: "Lively" by Dee Yan-Key From the Free Music Archive CC BY NC SA creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0/legalcode
