31. Sarah Unplugged: This Is Why You Can't Focus

“Sarah, I can’t focus. I think there’s something wrong with me.” I’ve heard this more over the last month than I’ve heard in my 13 years of 1:1 coaching. There’s nothing wrong with you, I promise. But you do need to give your brain time to heal from the current trauma. Please note: That is not an excuse to “do nothing” or “run away” mentally and pretend that today doesn’t count or that time isn’t really passing right now. This day is as real as any other day you’ve ever been alive. It matters. But you’re fighting the reality of today, wishing it wasn’t like this and you’re trying to adjust to a new reality while doing that. In this episode I walk you through one of my most personal and favorite mediations, to help you start each day with a new sense of connectedness, heart-centered focus, and a profound relationship to reality. It’s truly unscripted and straight from my heart to your ears.
