23 & Being Sober

Welcome back to my ~glamorous~ life!!!!!!!!!!!! Happy Monday (surprised I posted this on time) & Happy whatever day you are listening to this episode! This week's episode is about 23 & being sober. In this day and age it's almost seen as a taboo to be of legal age and choosing not to drink. I discuss (babble about) my journey and views on alcohol, starting from the OG days of D.A.R.E, high school where drinking is seen as being *~cool~*, college days where I was called lame, buzz kill & not fun for being sober, the immense amount of peer pressure I fell under and drinking alcohol to please other people and how I got to the point of choosing for myself to be fully sober. Please do not ever put yourself in a situation where you feel uncomfortable, unsafe or unhappy to please other people or to fit in. If your “friends” are pressuring you to do something you do not feel comfortable or safe with, they are not your friends they are pieces of shit. Ditch them. *No judgement if you drink, enjoy drinking, have fun with it. This is my personal experience with alcohol, I always drank for the wrong reasons all while shitting my pants & vomiting non stop the next day* If you are of legal age, please drink responsibly. Do not drink and drive, be safe, be careful.
