It's National Volunteer Week so we wanted to shine the spotlight on an unsung hero. Kim is a volunteer at a local women's shelter that provides a safe place for women and children needing accommodation to women who are experiencing homelessness for reasons such as domestic violence, mental health issues, financial difficulties and sexual abuse.
