Ep 13 - Bob Goff: Invitation to Adventure

New York Times Best Seller Bob Goff, sits down with Paula to talk about getting away from the need for approval, embracing all of your capabilities, and giving yourself permission to be bold in your truth. He talks about what drove him to walk away from his very own law firm after 25 years, without consulting his wife, and why he still to this day quits at least one thing every Thursday. He shares his 4:8 exercise and explains how it helps him constantly follow his truth without letting false narratives hold him back. He also encourages people who are trying to follow their dreams, to start small by going to the end of the street before trying to go to the ends of the world. While talking about his work overseas, the self-proclaimed "recovering lawyer", explains why it is crucial that more people start creating agendas to make themselves more available to opportunities as they come. Goff also shares how he avoids comparing himself to others by always racing the track and not those on it. "Instead of living in the middle of comfortable, I want to live on the edge of yikes."
