Vladimir Putin’s army advances toward Kyiv

Joy Reid leads this edition of The ReidOut with news of Vladimir Putin’s army advancing toward Kyiv, and apparently doubling down on taking the capital of Ukraine by opening up new fronts overnight. Next, we discuss President Biden calling for the U.S. to revoke Russia's “most favored nation” status, which would downgrade Russia as a trading partner and open the door to damaging new tariffs on Moscow. Then we examine the two things we have learned about Donald Trump from his campaign and his administration. First, is his strange and solicitous admiration for Vladimir Putin, which is well-documented, and second is his apparent obsession with weakening Ukraine. Former U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch -- who was fired by Donald Trump and testified during his first impeachment proceedings -- joins Joy Reid with her analysis. Finally, Chef José Andrés joins us from Ukraine on partnering with local restaurants and caterers in the region to get food and supplies to cities under siege. All this and more in this edition of The ReidOut on MSNBC.
