Ep.#87 English - Victor Nguyen-Long - Creative Director

Victor Nguyen-Long is a Vietnamese-American freelance Creative Director working at the intersection of pop culture, politics, and activism. Before jumping into politics, he spent 17 years helping some of the world's greatest brands deepen their relationships with their consumers, having led experience innovation at Audi, digital and social media marketing for Nike Sportswear, and collegiate marketing at Red Bull. Most recently, he spent the 2020 election as Creative Director for ACRONYM and their $100 million online effort to help elect President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris. When not consulting for consumer brands like YouTube, Uber Eats, and Converse, he's constantly in search of ways to inspire a new era of American civic engagement through creativity and pop culture.     Support this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/the-vietnamese-with-kenneth-nguyen/donations Advertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brands Privacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

Om Podcasten

Being part of a culture of almost 100 million Vietnamese people living in the world today has its pain and challenges, but it comes with plenty of history, privileges and honors. Join Kenneth Nguyen as he spotlights Vietnamese excellence from around the world. Each episode explores the creative process of individuals shaping the diversity of what it means to be Vietnamese--as a local, born and raised, or as a third culture kid, and even the divisions that separate us politically and culturally. This show can take multiple directions, but what it will do is show Vietnamese from a transpacific lens, in all its facets and complexities.
