“Living the Resurrection” “k'g?yfgdf hLpg'” Keeping in mind the previous study of “God ‘I am’” in the next series, we’ll focus on the resurrection, in line with the season of Church’s life following Jesus’ life. Knowing God requires understanding the Resurrection. We will take the resurrection passages from the Bible to study. The study will focus on how we can live in/out the Resurrection in our lives today. Too often, we think of the Resurrection as the future reality, after we die. Therefore, it becomes no immediate concern for us today, other than prepare for after life, thus we lose interest or significance for the life here and now. Peter says, “But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. (1 Pet 3:15). Paul says in 1 Corinthians 15: 14 And if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless and so is your faith. 20 But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. If we are people with resurrection hope, we must live differently than the ways of the world, as God in Jesus Christ have set an example for us. So we will explore what this “Living in/out the Resurrection” look like in our lives here and now.
