He communicated about his life through comedy like no one had ever done. Lenny Bruce was a controversial character in the 50’s and 60’s who challenged the first amendment with his act by talking about politics, religion, sex, drugs, and race. He was arrested several times for the things he said and spent more time in jail than he did on stage.
