Episode 177: Lessons from Endurance Training

Over the last nine months I have been training for a big endurance event called 29029, in which the participants climb the equivalent height of Mount Everest (29,029 feet) in 36 hours.  Before I started training for this event, I couldn’t climb more than a few hundred feet, but over time, I have increased both my physical and mental endurance and learned some powerful lessons about overcoming my brain as I have worked toward this goal. I have never been an athlete, but over time my body has changed and adapted to meet this challenge—and if that’s possible for me, I know it’s possible for you! In today’s podcast, I’m sharing some of the most valuable lessons I have learned as I have trained and prepared for this endurance event in the hopes that they will help you as you face the challenges in your own life.
