Meanwhile, in Afghanistan, the Taliban is in the early stages of forming its government and has begun to impose its ideology on the country's population.On the COVID-19 front, medical authorities are now advising those Americans who have received the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines that they will need a booster shot in the near future for protection from the Delta variant. Haiti is in the news again after a massive 7.2 magnitude earthquake hit the island, killing at least 1,900 people.
