243: 19 Years Without My Mom

Today marks 19 years since my mother died of breast cancer. I have dreaded this particular anniversary for a long time because I was 19 years old when my mom died, so starting tomorrow, every day that passes means that I've lived one day longer without her than I lived with her. As I get farther and farther away from her in days and years, I long to draw closer to her in other ways–to remember her, share her, and honor her. This episode is one way that I am doing that.  For full show notes, go to https://3in30podcast.com/243-19-years-without-my-mom. *** Related Episodes 080: Blessing our Children by Seeing their Gifts: A Musical Tribute to My Mama 186: Helping your Children Connect with Someone You've Loved and Lost // Dara Kurtz 086: 3 Easy Ways to Build Life-Long Bonds with Your Children: Tribute to my Dad
