Frank Turner on his Top 3 Comedy Ensembles (S1 - E1)

Today’s 3 Is The Magic Number guest, the first EVER guest for the podcast, is singer songwriter Mr. Frank Turner. This conversation was recorded over a year ago at the end of November 2020 during covid lockdown one, and sees Matt and Remfry chat to Frank about his Top 3 Comedy Ensembles. The three chaps also head over to recommendation corner to endorse a couple of fantastic TV dramas and an album from one of the most exciting hardcore acts in the UK. Frank is a much celebrated and hugely popular English punk and folk singer-songwriter from Meonstoke, Hampshire who has just had his first UK number one album with ‘FTHC’, released last month. He began his career as the vocalist of post-hardcore band Million Dead, then embarked upon a primarily acoustic-based solo career following the band's split in 2005. Since then his career has sky rocketed to incredible heights, touring practically non-stop and releasing nine solo albums.

Om Podcasten

Each week, we bring on a guest and ask them to pick their three favourite things. This can be anything; musician, album, film, director, graphic novel, Simpsons episodes, Star Wars characters, Theme Park thrill rides, beverages, ballerina, 70’s political figures, cities to live in ... anything! The sky is the limit on choices, but the choices are limited to just 3. At the end of the show, we’ll also be asking our guest for a recommendation for our Recommendations Corner.
