Should I wait to be fired or quit now?
If the company wants to get rid of you, nobody is winning by you staying. You are sacrificing your own mental, emotional, spiritual health every day that you stay. That’s too high a price to pay for the hope of collecting a measly unemployment check - which is not a desirable end goal anyway. Take the initiative to create the next chapter of your life. Questions: 1. How can I get to the point where I can spend all my time in my non-profit organization? 2. I have the option to make over 110 grand or pursue my entrepreneurial passions. 3. I'm terrified of having no passion to pursue and being stuck in meaningless jobs for life. 4. If you feel you may be fired, is it better to be fired and collect unemployment or to quit your job before being fired? 5. I just got a job offer in commission only sales but I don’t know if I can survive.
