Crimes and Misdemeanors David needs his space so Steve suggests he take Carly’s old place. Valerie is not pleased. Nor is she pleased when she learns that the song David sold is about Donna! And speaking of Donna, Spicy Grandma is back and, with her final words, she insists that Donna and David are soulmates which leads to a kiss between the two. Back at the Beat, Kelly has broken her silence with Brandon to put him on to a potential story involving a patient at the clinic. The two make a little peace along the way. And finally, the hijinks portion: Steve convinces Brandon to go on a double date with a pair of ladies only to learn that they think Brandon and Steve are a couple!
