Lateral Acceleration

In this first episode Julia and Giles talk about why they wanted to start A Little Bit of Positive and have a chat with Iceland's managing director Richard Walker. Iceland is one of the most successful food retailers in the UK with nearly 1,000 stores across the country and a turnover of more than £150m, but Richard is surprisingly down to earth and ethical. He cares about the planet, he’s passionate about taking action against plastic pollution and palm oil, and he cares about the communities that his shops serve. He also believes there's an opportunity for businesses and the government to push for a green economic recovery post-coronavirus, and he loves to surf and escape in the great outdoors.Follow Richard Walker on Twitter @icelandrichardFollow Julia on Twitter @JuliaBradburyFollow Giles on Twitter @eliistender10
