Italian Actress, Alice Torriani
Alice lives between London, Rome and Los Angeles. She graduated from The Paolo Grassi Drama Academy in Milan in 2007 and toured theatrically in Italy and Europe with established directors Alvis Hermanis, Massimo Castri, Romeo Castellucci and Franca Valeri amongts others. Her tv credits include the American-Canadian tv series Ransom3, and as lead in the Italian period drama The Ladies’ Paradise, season 1-2-3. She starred in the movie Lessons of Love, which was in the 76th Venice Film Festival in 2019. Other films include Ten Winters by Valerio Mieli, A Star is Born by Lucio Pellegrini, and Them who? by Francesco Miccichè and Fabio Bonifaci. In 2019 she won the Best Actress Award at the Los Angeles Brisk Festival.Alice is also a novelist and a screenwriter with two novels published by Fandango Libri. Her first novel, L’Altra Sete was chosen to represent Italy at the Festival Européen du Premier Roman in Germany.She wrote a tv series, Cleaning Your Shit, among the finalists at the prestigious Solinas Prize in Italy. With Matilda Kime she co-wrote the short movie “The mistake” , which has been nominated as Best International Short Film and won the Silver award at the Hollywood Art and Movie Awards in 2020. Alice has just finished working on the concept of a new tv series and on her first play. She has a recurring role in the tv series “Il Patriarca” in Italy.
