Podcast #22: Richard Benson and Thomas Palmer

"The thing a painter does is fundamentally different than what a photographer does. A painter goes and puts a mark somewhere, and looks at what the mark has done, and that tells the painter what the next mark should be. And that's what Thomas and I had been doing printing. We had been putting down a layer, and that told us what the next layer could be. And I was interested in doing that with my own photographs in color. So I ended up making color pictures in acrylic from 8 or 10 separations and 40 or 50 layers." - Richard Benson The views and opinions of the participants in this podcast are their own, and do not reflect or represent those of Adobe Systems.
