Brandon Broome joins the podcast to share his basketball journey that has led him to become the men's basketball head coach at Walla Walla University. Brandon won a USCAA national championship as a player in 2008 for Oakwood University, and talks about the challenges of transitioning to coaching after playing at a high level. Brandon discusses some of the hurdles that prevent Adventist colleges from signing more Adventist players, and talks about the great talents that exist in Adventist basketball. The guys ponder what an Adventist mega-team could accomplish at the NCAA Division 1 level, and celebrate some of the USCAA championship teams from multiple Adventist schools.Brandon previews his 2023-2024 roster and talks offensive schemes as he looks to take his squad to the next level in the NAIA's Cascade College Conference.Thank you for listening!
