An antihero is a major character who lacks the qualities an audience might ascribe to a conventional hero (we are using the term "hero" hero to be inclusive of all genders). Antiheroes are ambiguous and complex and come with a dark side. But despite their flaws and even occasionally questionable morals, an antihero is ultimately on the side of good.
