The Art World on Clubhouse

EPISODE 9 of 'All About Art': The Art World on Clubhouse Clubhouse is a social media app (with invite and for iOS only) that hosts rooms for live, non-recorded discussions between people on a variety of topics. You can be a speaker and/or a listener. The art world seems to have found its place on the app, with talks about galleries, art markets, museums, art collecting and more. In this episode, I talk about how the art world presents itself on the app and what the pros and cons are from my perspective. I also offer a more critical analysis of women's voices and gender dynamics in groups while referring to this article: When Women Don't Speak, BYU Magazine  ABOUT ME: I am an Austrian-American art historian, curator, and writer.
