#36 Literacy and Children with Hearing Loss with Dr. Krystal Werfel
On episode #36 of All Ears at Child’s Voice: A Hearing Loss Podcast, Wendy and Haley are joined by Dr. Krystal Werfel. Dr. Werfel is a research scientist and Director of the Written language lab at Boystown national research hospital is a certified speech language pathologist. She received her master's degree in speech, language, pathology and PhD in Child Language Disorders from Vanderbilt University. She is passionate about literacy in children with hearing loss, conducting research to better the outcomes for this population.
