Lindsey Metselaar of We Met at Acme tells of her love of Chicken Fingers and Tuna Melts, plus Dating Advice and Tips for Keeping Marriage Spicy

Katie chats with Lindsey Metselaar, the host of the popular dating and relationship podcast, We Met at Acme. Lindsey is a new mom and recounts her journey of IVF, pregnancy and motherhood life. They discuss their hilarious food cravings, like Velveeta grilled cheese and endless bagels, and the gift of pregnancy. Katie talks to Lindsey about her life before she was married and how she started We Met at Acme. Long story short, on Lindsey’s 27th birthday her boyfriend at the time dumped her and she was truly frustrated with dating in New York City to say the least. She began telling her dating stories and interviewing friends about theirs, and the podcast steadily grew. Now in the show’s eighth year, Lindsey has interviewed all kinds of different people from celebrities and influencers, to dating coaches and therapists to share advice on the topic. Lindsey recommends that using a dating app is a great tool to have in your pocket if you are single, and gives ways to keep the romance alive in your relationship or marriage. She also shares her sometimes controversial rules of dating. When it comes to food, Lindsey also has a popular Instagram account called @dontexpectsalads. She shares her love of tuna melts, where to find the best chicken fingers in NYC, as well as her top pizza slice in the city.
