Santana Moss on "Hennessy Game" vs. Cowboys, reclaiming glory at Miami, perception of undersized WRs and Sean Taylor's memory

The South Florida flavor continues on All Things Covered as we welcome our second Miami Hurricane in as many weeks. Santana Moss not only dominated on the college stage at 'The U' but brought that playmaking ability to the league for a successful 14-year NFL career. He joins co-hosts Patrick Peterson and Bryant McFadden to discuss his path and shares some tremendous stories along the way (31:00). But first, Pat and BMac chop things up, starting with another big announcement from P2 himself (1:15)! It's NFL Draft week, as the guys take a trip down memory lane to the 2011 draft before quickly analyzing what's in store for the 2021 draft (8:00). What will the Vikings do at #14? "Has Pat Heard!?" truly puts a traveling Pat Peterson to the test (15:45), while "21 Questions" explores why Ronde Barber isn't in the Hall of Fame (22:30). After halftime, we bring a wide receiver into the game plan (31:00). Santana Moss grew up in Miami, but his allegiances weren't solely to the hometown Hurricanes during his youth. He explains why he adored the Seminoles all the way until they failed to offer him coming out of high school. The guys then explore Moss' time at 'The U', how his freshmen class was able to restore glory to the program, what it was like seeing them win a national title the year after he left and if the refs had something against the school. Is that 2001 squad the best college team ever? We jump to the pros as Santana offers his reaction to being a 1st-round selection alongside college teammate Reggie Wayne, Daniel Snyder's desire to bring him to Washington and the perception of undersized wide receivers. Our guest balled out in 2005 once arriving in DC and tells us what led to that breakout campaign. Santana has been open before about drinking Hennessy pregame, but the legend goes to another level when discussing a matchup vs. the Cowboys in 2007. Sean Taylor was the heartbeat for both Miami and WFT, as Moss details the profound impact his passing had on so many people. Superlatives focus on the Mount Rushmore of Miami Hurricanes and the most under-appreciated WR in the game.  'All Things Covered' is available on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Stitcher, Google Podcasts, Castbox and wherever else you listen to podcasts.  You can listen to All Things Covered on your smart speakers! Om Podcasten

Patrick Peterson and Bryant McFadden have made a living for their coverage skills on the football field, and while it's a different technique, they're now applying those traits on their podcast 'All Things Covered'. Instead of wide receivers, tight ends and running backs, they'll be covering sports, entertainment, social issues, personal interests and more. Every Wednesday, the 8-time Pro Bowler Peterson and 2-time Super Bowl champion McFadden will discuss what's happening on the gridiron as well as what intrigues them off the field. Each week they'll welcome a star from the sports and entertainment world to have wide-ranging conversations about what interests them. Guests can include active or former football players but also athletes and influencers from other sports and walks of life. Football is how we know our hosts, but far from what defines Pat and BMac. The name says everything; expect all things to be covered! You can also watch us on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/c/AllThingsCovered
