Teddy Bridgewater on trade to the Broncos, what Panthers need to fix, comeback mentality and South Florida roots

Teddy Bridgewater's name has been in the news but he hasn't spoken to the media since his trade from Carolina to Denver. That changes on this episode as Patrick Peterson and Bryant McFadden chat with the new Broncos quarterback about his current situation and entire career (32:00). But first, Pat P and BMac chop things up on one of Teddy's teammates and how the organization and the NFL is approach his injury. Ja'Wuan James tore his Achilles during an off-site workout which has sparked a debate about how these situations should be handled in terms of compensation. Our hosts weigh in (1:30). P2 puts forth a phenomenal effort in 'Has Pat Heard!?' causing a conversation if the segment should be retired (10:00)! Peterson and McFadden each share teammates they looked up to during '7 Questions' (23:30). Next, it's time to expand the coverage and welcome on another signal caller. Teddy Bridgewater joins the podcast to share his journey (32:00). Teddy takes us from Opa-Locka to Louisville, Minnesota, New York (very briefly), New Orleans, Carolina and now Denver. He was around one of the greatest high school football teams ever - 2007 Miami Northwestern - and explains what he took away from that squad. While many members of that team went on to play locally in college at Miami, Bridgewater forged his own path at Louisville. A few years later, another South Florida QB followed in his foot steps and ended up being the #32nd pick in the draft...Teddy shares his thoughts on Lamar Jackson and the criticism he often receives. #5 then offers some advice for how Pat P can handle the cold in Minnesota. Our great guest then speaks openly about his horrifying injury he suffered in 2016, how it changed his thought process and his road to recovery. Learning from Drew Brees is something any quarterback could benefit from, and Teddy says his two years in New Orleans did wonders for his process. Did he get a fair shot in Carolina? And how is he approaching a quarterback competition in Denver? Finally, we finish on Superlatives! Om Podcasten

Patrick Peterson and Bryant McFadden have made a living for their coverage skills on the football field, and while it's a different technique, they're now applying those traits on their podcast 'All Things Covered'. Instead of wide receivers, tight ends and running backs, they'll be covering sports, entertainment, social issues, personal interests and more. Every Wednesday, the 8-time Pro Bowler Peterson and 2-time Super Bowl champion McFadden will discuss what's happening on the gridiron as well as what intrigues them off the field. Each week they'll welcome a star from the sports and entertainment world to have wide-ranging conversations about what interests them. Guests can include active or former football players but also athletes and influencers from other sports and walks of life. Football is how we know our hosts, but far from what defines Pat and BMac. The name says everything; expect all things to be covered! You can also watch us on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/c/AllThingsCovered
