Two directors in exchange on Constellation 2.0
In our third podcast about “Constellation 2.0”, DFF director Ellen Harrington and Seb Chan, director of the Museum for Screen Culture ACMI in Melbourne, talk about the tasks and changes of museums in the age of digitization. Since 2021, visitors to the Museum for Screen Culture ACMI extend their museum visit into virtual space with the help of the specially developed LENS tool. In the summer of 2022, Ellen and her team were in Australia for a collegial visit and brought back a lot of inspiration and ideas. In our podcast the two directors take a close look at the benefits and requirements of digitally enhanced offerings, hidden archive treasures, and the question of how the exchange between visitors can be strengthened with digital tools.
