077: Sonia H|Father-Daughter Relationship (Relationship Q&A)

In this relationship Q & A session, Jennifer Diepstraten of FamilyCo fields a call from anonymous caller Sonia.  31-year old Sonia is on the eve of a surgery that might leave her infertile.  She starts the call with her father-daughter issue and complains how her dad doesn’t support her or understand what she’s going through. She just wants him to understand and tell her that he loves her.  Instead, when she tries to speak her dad about these ‘deeper emotional things,’ he doesn’t show his love and she ends up getting frustrated and crying alone in another room.  During this interactive relationship coaching Sonia moves from tears to a clear understanding of how much her dad loves her and how to reconcile.  This episode walks the listener step-by-step through a coaching process, so if you’d like to improve your relationship with your father, or with your daughter, be sure to tune in!
