Dr Ming Wang’s Communism Survival Story and the American Dream

Today’s guest was just 8 years old when he came close to being executed by the Communists in China. At age 14, he faced deportation to forced labor camps, and spent years in a fight to escape that fate. His mother was beaten nearly to death by the notorious Red Coats, and yet he and his family never gave up hope that life would offer an opportunity to them, to live free and full lives. In this episode of American Snippets, Dr Ming Wang shares his incredible story of enduring and surviving the Chinese Cultural Revolution, his extraordinary path that led him to America, and how he restores sight to the blind.
