An Exploration of Palestinian Liberation Theology
This podcast is an exploration of a specific theology of justice, Palestinian Liberation Theology. In it, I start with a rehashing of the definition of theologies of justice and liberation theology. This includes definitions from textbooks and course instruction. With this understanding, we move to the historical background of the Arab-Israeli conflict, the inspiration for this style of liberation theology. Next, I start an explanation of Palestinian Liberation Theology that continues through to an identification of major figures in the movement. With an understanding of the movement, we move into the major criticisms against the practice. Finally, connections are drawn to a very famous style of liberation theology that was discussed in course instruction. Hope you enjoy, Elias Hansen
