004: Hiking to Alex Knob, Glacier Views with Lucy

Since age seven, Lucy spent her weekends on family camping trips and gradually built up to longer day-hikes and Great Walks across Aotearoa. Now in her teens, she shares her adventures to inspire other young people to experience the outdoors. In this episode, Lucy talks about one of her favourite hike to date - the Alex Knob track! She shares her best advice for you, whether you're walking it in a day or want to spend the night camping under the stars. A hidden West Coast gem, the Alex Knob Track gives you incredible views of Franz Josef Glacier - if you manage to find a gap in the clouds. Tune in to this episode for tips on the best time to hike the track and what to expect along the way - perhaps a Kea encounter? Thank you so much for tuning in and coming along for the ride.
