Dave Kushner on Velvet Revolver, Scott Weiland, & Chris Cornell - Ep. 20

It was an honor to have Dave Kushner join us for this episode, you know him as the guitarist for Velvet Revolver, but he's also played with Danzig, Dave Navarro, and earlier on in his career with hardcore punk band Wasted Youth. Though we're excited to have Dave on, we do delve into the tragic topic of Chris Cornell's very recent passing. Dave himself is no stranger to drug abuse in his own life as well as working with the great Scott Weiland who is no longer with us. Dave gets into his own experience with Chris Cornell before his fame with Soundgarden and also his reaction seeing his former band mates Slash and Duff reunite with GN'R. Dave's been busy lately creating the theme music for shows like "Sons of Anarchy," "American Grit," and comedian Bill Burr's Netflix series "F is for Family." He's also created an all-star band called Hellcat Saints with members of Linkin Park and Weezer. You can follow Dave on Twitter @DaveKushner66. Beyond the interview, we react to GNR's new leg of the tour. Don't miss this one, and please leave us a review on Apple Podcasts!
