AALP 245 – Happy Money with Ken Honda

Happy Money with Ken Honda   My guest today is the Japanese author of the book Happy Money, Ken Honda. He has sold over 7 million copies of his books. Ken decided to take the next 4 years off to dedicate his time to parenting after he found out his wife was pregnant. He started creating financial booklets by hand after he realized how lucky he was to be able to choose how he spent his time. After he gave away more than 100,000 copies of the booklets he was approached by an editor interested in him writing books. Ken didn’t believe he had anything else to share but with time he discovered he did. He ended up writing a book in just a few months. He created Happy Money during this time. During our conversation you’ll learn: -What the Japanese concept of Ikigai is and why it’s so important -How to integrate the love you feel inside into the work you’re doing -How to get paid for work that you love To learn more about Ken and his work, you can visit his website. *********** Related resources For more happy money and being of service resources, check these out: The Joy of Service wit Farnoosh Torabi What is a Mindful Millionaire?
