AOMW 088 – It’s Never Just About the Money with Leisa Peterson
I’m participating in a 5 day challenge this week with 550 women from around the world and it is about becoming a millionaire goddess. I signed up to see what was being asked of everyone as I haven’t done a challenge before. The first day we were asked to share a LIVE video about what we are no longer willing to tolerate in our lives. I went to create the video and everything went wrong once I hit the live button (if you’ve done Facebook Live before you know how nerve racking it is when you get the 3, 2, 1 countdown). I posted it anyways 🙂 Next up we were instructed to write up a list of our wins and to share the top 10 with the group. This was WAY more fun than the video and so I got my list posted right away. Comments quickly flew in and I’ve pasted in one of the conversations that got started… FB POST: “Whoa!! We have a legit #millionairegoddess in our midst! Congrats. I celebrate you!” ME: Thanks XXXX I actually hadn’t made that connection until you said it, how funny. The most important thing that having money has done for me is to know that it was NEVER just about the money 🙂 FB POST: Please explain! (I have never earned more than $32k a year.) Being asked to explain what I mean by “It is NEVER just about the money” gave me an idea to create a video and podcast about my response… here ya go!
