She also teaches yoga, astrology, and Tarot. Lara has a Horary certification through the School of Traditional Astrology and a Certificate in Vedic Astrology from Kepler College, where she studied medical astrology. She has also studied Hellenistic Astrology with Demetra George and Chris Brennan. Medical Astrology led Lara to the Acutonics system of energetic medicine, which involves the use of tuning forks corresponding to planetary and other sound frequencies. Lara has had 104 hours of training accredited by the Acutonics Institute of Integrative Medicine, LLC, having completed Acutonics Levels 1, 2, 3 and 4.
