PSP 143: How Our Expectations and Stress Impact Our Child with Anxiety or OCD

We often think there is nothing we can do if our child doesn’t work on their anxiety or OCD. I often say, we are in the passenger seat and they are in the driver’s seat. But there is one thing, one HUGE thing we can do. We can work on how our expectations of our child’s success or failure impact the outcome. We can also work on our stress. Because our stress doesn’t live in a bubble, it’s contagious and likes to spread throughout our family. In this episode of the AT Parenting Survival Podcast, I talk all about how to take the reigns and help your child by making some simple steps to help yourself. Also, just for this week you can catch my 3-part video series called Self-Care for Parents Raising Kids with Anxiety or OCD. Click here to join and you’ll get each video delivered to your in-box. I am also doing daily Facebook live classes on the videos in my private Facebook group. Join the Facebook group here. For information regarding your data privacy, visit acast.com/privacy
