10 Easy Starter Foods for Baby-Led Weaning

#16: What are the best starter foods for baby-led weaning? Babies can eat some - but not all - foods early on. In this episode I walk you through 10 simple starter foods for baby-led weaning.

 

These are foods your baby can safely self-feed and they include a variety of textures, tastes, food groups and even meat and 2 allergenic foods. This is not an exhaustive list, but you can do these 10 foods during the first 2 weeks of baby led weaning.

 

Research shows that babies who are exposed to the greatest variety of foods, flavors, tastes and textures - early and often - those are the babies who are MORE likely to become independent eaters and LESS likely to be picky eaters.
